Review of Hard Eight (1997) by William L — 28 Jan 2009
It's so cool to see where it all started. The pieces are beginning to fall to place and there is a strong feel of something wonderful coming soon. This small film has the characters, the dialogue and the visuals but it's all very low key.
Well except Philip Seymour Hoffman and Sam Jackson. This is a cool little movie and an important one because this was the first step on a path of some of the most incredible movies ever made by one of the absolutely greatest directors of today.
And of all time.
