Review of Hard Eight (1997) by Curtis D — 15 Feb 2009
An oustanding character-driven drama by P.T. Anderson. He clearly has a mamet-esque feel for dialogue and it is extremely watchable. And a final shot that makes me cream my pants to this day. Cinematic perfection and not a smidge of dialogue, just acting.
PB Hall is underrated as an actor.
