The coolest movie this side of Reservoir Dogs. Story about an understated older gambler gentlemen who looks after a wayward mumbler. This dialogue driven story leaves you wanting for more and seeking theme.
You get the former but never the latter. Oddly, the formula works. Seymour Hoffman has a bit role as a honky gambler that he nails. SLJ is frieking awesome as the hood. The ever steady and under appreciated Baker Hall plays a cool customer, always in control, never relenting.
