An artistically portrayed thriller; that blends intelligent narrative with edge of your seat thrills. There's a lot more to 'Hard Candy' than anticipated and the seemingly violent and vulgar concept that could have become a lousy torture flick is bold and memorable.
Much foreshadowing and sub-text is conveyed through it's gorgeous visuals and color. Hard Candy is a pleasant surprise.
