Best Action Gun Movie Ever. The action is unbelievably spectacular, John Woo is the master. I think this racks up the highest death count on screen that I have ever seen yet I never get tired of watching baddies get shot, not just once, but like 8-9 times. Also, I find this movie funny at times. I'm not sure if it is suppose to be, but either way there are some really great over-the-top moments that are hilarious.
This takes multiple viewings to really appreciate the sheer magnitude of the jaw-dropping action throughout the movie. Chow Yun Fat is one of the most underrated actors of all time. I will also warn the guys about watching this with your girlfriend/ wife because of the ridiculous amounts of crazy violence women are prone to find this movie offensive. I know someone who did and she was not amused. And no it wasn't me.
