And so, John Woo modestly declares himself indirectly as an action god. What a marvelously crafted, unforgiving and explosive action bomb! The guy is a merciless bastard, creating a memorable "bullet ballet" right in the middle of a hospital! Yet, nothing stops this action masterpiece from amazing audiences worldwide, exciting teenagers watching it hidden from their parents, and inspiring a considerable amount of directors around the world, from France and the US, to Japan, Hong Kong and South Korea. Lat sau san taam puts any Lethal Weapon (1987), Predator (1987) and Die Hard (1988) flick to absolute shame, including its pussy fans!
And just for the record, this has an extraordinary tracking shot with insane stunts right in the middle of the climax!
