Happythankyoumoreplease is a charming, funny, light-hearted but inevitably forgettable romantic comedy. It still seems to manage to fit in a lot of the clichà (C) love story scenarios, but also manages to transcend that and be something better.

Itâ(TM)s really just a story about life. People realizing that sooner or later you have to grow up; trying to discover love and connect with someone. The main character of Sam Wexler is a struggling writer who is already having a bad day when a young boy gets separated from his family on the subway.

Sam makes a questionable decision in bringing the boy back to his apartment and looks after him, forming a unique friendship. Also in the mix is Samâ(TM)s best friend, Annie, who because of an autoimmune disorder feels she is unlovable.

Thereâ(TM)s also the couple of Mary Catherine and Charlie who find their relationship tested when it comes time to make a decision to stay in New York or move to Los Angeles because Charlie can get a great job.

Amongst his chaotic life and friends, Sam meets Mississippi, a waitress and cabaret singer. The film conveys a very simple message about life and that is try until you succeed. While most of the issues the characters face get resolved within the filmâ(TM)s short time frame, the story is able to be told with a lot of heart.

Thereâ(TM)s a deeper story in there about how even when you feel like youâ(TM)re unlovable, you deserve to be loved for just being you. We see this beautiful and rarely told message through Annieâ(TM)s life.

The film was well written and swiftly directed. The casting seemed so perfect as the story needed to be carried more by the characters than the events. Really wonderful performances all around by Josh Radnor, Zoe Kazan, Malin Akerman, Kate Mara, Pablo Schreiber, and Tony Hale in the most genuine and heart-warming role Iâ(TM)ve ever seen him play.

Yes, as I said, itâ(TM)s a forgettable film, but it is definitely one that you will enjoy seeing and maybe take away a little knowledge about how things in life work themselves out⦠even if you forget where the information came from.
