It only works for those who can relate. Being in a place such as NYC isn't the easiest, though most people would be envious thinking it must be the greatest place in the world but it creates as much failure as it is to success. Joah Radnor isn't just another pretty face from HIMYM (who is probably the least entertaining character in the series), but with a true heart in NYC and exactly where he belongs.
PS why does all architects falls miserably? Ted Mosby and that character by Zach Braff in that who cheated on who movie??
