Review of Happy New Year (2014) by Dharmin N — 13 Nov 2014
It would appear that the dynamic duo, Farah Khan and SRK, have taken a few lessons from the Shaw Brothers school of action movies since their last flick. This one had a slow start - and when it did pick up, it began to lose me with it's over-the-top farce entertainment, but as the story developed, it got better.
I must admit I've seen all SRK's movies and though he's typecast as India's heartthrob and can annoyingly come across as having a bit of a big head in the press, I must admit that I, along with the rest of the world.
am smitten by his charm and good looks on the big screen. Good story. Usual Bollywood fluff. Farah has a formula and doesn't veer far from it, but hey, if it ain't broke, don't fix it. As usual, love her end credits.
