Despite all the hype and praise, I did not like this movie. I found the main character to be rather grating and obnoxious. I also found the majority of the movie to be pointless, it didn't really seem to go anywhere until it was almost over.
Normally, I enjoy films by Mike Leigh, but this one was just not for me.
