Review of Happy-Go-Lucky (2008) by Emily B — 25 May 2009
I wanted to see this after I watched Sally Hawkins win a Golden Globe for her performance, however, this is one of the rare films I couldn't even bother watching all the way through. Hawkins is cute in a childlike way in the film, but the lack of plot and random wandering through this British schoolteacher's life just didn't hold my interest.
