Mike Leigh's latest is another fine example of British film making at its very best. Like all his films the heart and soul of his movies are in the characters. In Happy-go-lucky he has created two of his most memorable (sally and eddie).
Mike Leigh's movies are exceptionally regional (London) so low ratings from people not from England don't surprise.
