Review of Happy-Go-Lucky (2008) by Sparky J — 12 Feb 2010

When you read the title you get the idea the movie is about a continual optimist who changes those around her for the better.

What you get is a character who's behavior borders on psychotic and who generally seems to annoy and upset everyone she meets.

I won't deny the script is pretty funny and you get the idea that the movie could have gone far better but it just never takes off from the start.

And then abruptly POOF the movies done with a lot of unanswered questions and the feeling that nothing much happens and that you could have had more fun having a snack instead.

It's okay but it won't change your world.
