Very difficult to watch through to the end. It is promised as an optimistic, feel-good movie, but it left me absolutely depressed. The scenes that are amazingly acted are the ones that are the most difficult to watch because there is just too much emotion and tragedy. The rest is just misplaced, jumbled, and even boring at points. I feel really sorry for Poppy. Truly.
A very unusual film. Will definitely leave something, but I'm not sure that's a good thing. One that might be more meaningful if you rewatch it, but I can't imagine myself ever wanting to.
If you are depressed and want a film that will make you happy, please, please, please do NOT watch this film.
