Review of Happy Gilmore (1996) by David H — 20 Apr 2011
Happy gilmore starts off well as a funny dumb comedy but ends up becoming so repetitive, that the whole golf topic takes over the comedy and scenes start to mush together as Happy plays game after game of golf , losing and then winning and then lose and then winning.
Basically, the story is so paper-thin that it loses all its steam just over half way through the film, and so the film does not warrant it's runnin time. However, it does provide a handful of good laughs and some amusing sight gags.
