Review of Happy Gilmore (1996) by Matt M — 31 Mar 2013
Adam Sandler plays wacky and angry hockey player wannabe turned into a potential greatest golf player ever who enters a tournament to win enough money to buy his grandmother her house back. Possibly the easiest part Adam Sandler ever played, or at least the one that suited his comedy style the most.
This is simple slapstick comedy, loses a bit of energy in its second half, but still quite funny and entertaining.
