Review of Happy Gilmore (1996) by Movie1997 — 04 Jun 2013

Out of all of Adam Sandler's screwball comedies, this one's probably his best. This movie is one that you can enjoy and watch over and over again. Sure the movie does tend to have its flaws, but in the end, your enjoying a funny slapstick comedy.

The story-line is somewhat typical, but once you put the characters into this story, you've completely changed the entire story. The one big thing that I love about this movie is the energy of the movie.

With its slapstickness, the movie feels alive. In the end that's what helps save this movie. Overall, it's a goofy sports comedy.
