Happy Feet 2 fails to meet expectations. Perhaps if the movie spent less time patronizing televangelists and disparaging evangelical Christians, promoting gay marriage, and pretending to be an Al Gore environmental documentary, the writers could have worked on a more substantial plot appropriate for the children.
Two stars because of the impressive visuals, but don't bother. Just watch the first one again.
