Review of Happy Feet (2006) by Ryan V — 02 May 2012
Mumble (Elijiah Wood) is a penguin who can't sing but holds a passion for dancing. This causes him trouble during mating season and Mumble quickly becomes a social pariah. In the hopes of finding his purpose, Mumble is eventually forced to embark upon a quest to save the penguin colony.
His journey is delivered with awful pop culture references pretending to be jokes, poorly executed renditions of hit songs, and animation that would've looked cool in 1994. It's needless to say that Happy Feet doesn't really do much for me.
