Review of Happy Feet (2006) by Maxk. — 28 Apr 2007
Happy Feet is a very weird and dark film, notably the scenes where Mumble is locked in a zoo, and looses his mind, then throws fish at wall, and where Mumbles father Nemphis goes: "there hasn't been one day, not one day, that I haven't done right by you" in a dark murky cave.
but, surprisingly this movie teaches some sensible depth. The movie is highly hell-bent on teaching the enviromental message of food shortage: fish for penguins becoming lesser abd lesser each day, its nice to see that in a kids cartoon venture.
Packed with hot musical numbers, and exceptional computer animation, Happy Feet will dazzle all kids and parents alike with its sensible depth and nice music songs and animation.
