Review of Happy Feet (2006) by Moviefan — 05 May 2007

A strangely hostile little film. Gloria's 'heart song' is downright depressing. Then the rejection of Gloria, by Mumble, with him running off with 'the boys' instead...yes, this is majorly a gay theme.

Then we have the supportive mother, plus insensitive father. Hmmmm. Gloria follows Mumble over the ice to tell him she loves him and he tells her that's not for me!! Pulease. Girl hate to the max.

There is nothing heart warming about this awful movie; the plot is dull and trite besides Cute little penguin, but that's it. No real humor or warmth. I'm not very religious, but I felt the anti-religious subtext was kind a ugly.

Save your clams; don't spend any money on this loser.
