Review of Happy Death Day (2017) by Davidtejada — 03 Nov 2017
"By adding some few jokes and some trembling moments Happy Death Day comes with the cliché-stuff in which there is nothing surprising" ///// Many movies with this type of argument result stereotypical, and Happy Death Day is not the difference.
The fact that director Landon added some horror features doesn't make it innovative, STILL it has some decent laughs to enjoy. ///// 50% of this movie is about regretting the actions you've done before.
And 10% is how the main character got kill. The rest?? It's just the addition of secondary ideas with none importance. Also the dialogue feels poor completely, as if a random teenager had written it. ALSO ALSO at least the main character Tree Gelbman (performed by Jessica Rothe) and Carter Davis (by Israel Broussard) are barely known but the rest of the cast is forgotten, so in terms of characterisation it is bad.
///// However there's a light at the end of the tunnel because the humour and the positive attitude made the movie enjoyable at its times. (SPOILER ALERT!!) The fact that she was walking naked made me LAUGH OUT LOUD (SPOILER ALERT!!).
But as said before, just some moments as well as the music. ///// So, it's a mixed movie, with teenage-formula-entertainment and with a nice but cliché reflection.
