Review of Happy Death Day (2017) by Marcdoyle — 12 Oct 2017
One of the bummers of this movie is that the "It's your birthday" song from the trailer is not in the movie at all. The birthday ringtone from her father is some other stupid tune. And the film is not nearly as tightly constructed as Groundhog Day.
I will say, however, that the lead actress is excellent. She can carry the movie.
