Review of Happy Campers (2001) by Brian W — 09 Nov 2007
I really wasn't expecting much, but I knew that the cast had potential and I was curious to see what munchkin Justin Long was like (turns out much like he is now).
But I was surprised. It's funny without being stupid. It's cliched but real at the same time. I found myself laughing and relating to some of the characters in a weird way that went beyong the normal sacharine, nauseating summer camp movies. It wasn;t cheap. Kids and adults can enjoy this.
And it was silly and entertaining.
I really need to see Heathers...it's like some sort of gay cardinal sin that I haven't.
And for you who have seen this already, check out the movie Camp as well.
