Review of Happy Birthday to Me (1981) by Andrew G — 15 Apr 2015
Similar to Friday the 13th, but done with wit and mostly believable performances, Happy Birthday to Me is known to be a film that centres on the eventually depressing outlook and the sorrowful past of the lead character in Virginia, the mystery and build-up of the killer whose face remains unseen to strengthen the suspense and heighten the mystery and subtleness of the deaths, and an extremely unusual plot twist that has to be seen to be believed.
.. that is, if you are the right age to watch this movie.
