Review of Hansel & Gretel: Witch Hunters (2013) by Daniel V — 01 Sep 2013

So many things will never be appreciated in their own time, but the future may be kinder. I think we have that here. I'm not saying this master filmmaking, nor does it try to be and I may have a soft spot for all things WIll Ferrall but I still think people were a bit harsh on this flick.

Some fun action, likable leads and an insanely over the top performance by Famke Janssen as the evil witch queen supplied me with an entertaining 90 minutes. Not to mention their wonderfully rendered and lovable creature feature, Edward.

I hope that rumor of a sequel comes true, I wish I had seen this on the big screen.
