Review of Hansel & Gretel: Witch Hunters (2013) by George B — 18 Apr 2015
Imagine a hybrid of Roald Dahl's The Witches and Sam Rami's Evil Dead trilogy and what ya get is just pure entrainment from start to finish.
It does tend to drag in the second act, and most of the acting isn't very good, but honestly, seeing a badass Hansel & Gretel kicking ass out of witches with great practical effects and make up, is enough to pull it through for me.
