This is one crazy, fast-paced action/horror/fantasy flick; and I liked it. OK. I'm guilty for certain re-imaginings of classic fairy tales. I admit I never read Hansel and Gretel (as much as I would like to), but I do get the hint on what it's about with bread crumbs and stuff.
I only wish it was longer, but at least I have the unrated version of it on Blu-Ray, so that kinda makes up for it.
