Review of Hansel and Gretel Get Baked (2013) by John T — 03 Mar 2013

While the film isn't going to break any boundaries when it comes to the "stoner comedy" ,"HAGGB" is very entertaining with good humor ( nothing laugh out loud hysterical ) but what most people won't expect when going into this title is its actually a horror/ stoner comedy .

With pretty decent gore/ blood and few gross out/ sight gags for good measure and a pretty good cast to boot. My complaints with this film is the script sometimes feel like it wasn't full finished at times and feels like almost slapped together but it gives it a almost " scooby-doo like quality with its shortcomings and my other complaint is the last 30 minutes just feels like the movie is kicking its feet around to get to the ending.

originally called Hansel and Gretel and the 420 witch ( a title I prefer it fits it more I think) and the ending feels like its rushed And could of added a little more to the eyes but all in all its highly enjoyable for what it is and it asked to be nothing more ,there's blood, there's pot theirs the word "dude" thrown in only 8 times ( really low considering the genre haha) and a little bit of witch magic .

I enjoyed this movie way more than most people will but hey it fits my bill for a "good movie" whatever that is anyway .
