An excellent film, not as artistic as I wish it could have been, however Peter Webber did a hundred times better job than Did the past directors of the Hannibal franchise.
Is it as good as the book, NO,of course it is not. What film is? It still was an excellent film, some moments of the film did have a certain kiestch feel, howver that was inevitablly going to happen.
Gaspard Ulliel was sOOOOOOO much better than Anthony Hopkins at portraying the role of of Hannible.
It would have been a better film if someone such as say...Tom Tykwer or Ang Lee had gotten hold of this script but as is it is still a very watchable film.
