Review of Hannibal (2001) by Steve W — 07 Mar 2010
This movie defies the excellence of the first one and tries to make it on its own, and it fails. The over the top gore, the ridiculous ending, almost everything works against it. The only pros are Anthony Hopkin's performance and the solid direction.
It had a good climax, followed by terrible scene with Ray Liotta, and then another good final image. A mixed bag.
