How do you go from 'The Silence of the Lambs', perhaps one of the greatest movies of all time, to this steaming pile of crap? A rare dropped ball by Ridley Scott.
Try as he may, the great Anthony Hopkins can not save this film, even though he tries hard. Julianne Moore is one of the worst actresses at work today, and to go from Jodie Foster to her is an absolute joke.
Even disregarding the horrible acting, the story of the movie is foo fragmented. At any given time it seems like there are 2 separate movies going on. The plot is redundant, and the whole thing with the pigs is just stupid.
Since this is the last sequential part of the Hannibal story, just pretend that 'Silence of the Lambs' is the final chapter.
