Review of Hannibal (2001) by Hayden H — 23 Feb 2012
The gore and psychology that comes with Hopkins' always reliable performance is here but its not quite as good this time round. Still Hannibal is an effective and quite exciting film and despite a few hiccups all is salvaged by Oldman, who is mesmerising and truly horrifyingly unnoticeable as antagonist Mason Verger.
