Review of Hannibal (2001) by Ryan T — 31 Aug 2012
As much as I enjoy Moore, she's no Jodie Foster, and sadly could not portray Clarice Starling in the manner so many loved. The acting is adequate and Hannibal portrays a shocking back story to the creation of one of the greatest movie villains of all time.
This is where the fault lies. Lecter is creepy yet refined and methodical, something that is not exhibited well in this film which is far more gory than Silence of the Lambs or Red Dragon.
