Review of Hannibal (2001) by Julian T — 18 Sep 2014
How do you go from 'The Silence of the Lambs', one of my favorite movies of all time, to this steaming pile of crap? Try as he may, the great Anthony Hopkins can not save this film, even though he trys hard.
Julianne Moore is one of the worst actresses at work today, and to go from Jodie Foster to her is an absolute joke. Even disregarding the horrible acting, the story of the movie is foo fragmented. At any given time it seems like there are 2 seperate movies going on.
The plot is redundant, and the whole thing with the pigs is just stupid. Since this is the last sequential part of the Hannibal story, just pretend that 'Silence of the Lambs' is the final chapter.
