Review of Hannibal (2001) by Oscar T — 21 Feb 2015
Entertaining. Mostly I just watched it to further my knowledge of the Silence of the Lambs universe and its mythos so I can better appreciate the TV series. But I liked it. Mason Verger/Gary Oldman is SO GOOD! I shouldn't surprised, but he creates a pretty fascinating character with lots of personality.
The pigs made me laugh. Too goofy. But the stuff with Ray Liota at the end made me literally scream. Whoa! That was a well played moment. It's not something I'll bother seeing multiple times but I'm glad I saw it.
