Review of Hannah Montana: The Movie (2009) by Mohamed A — 31 Dec 2012

Sure, it's Hannah Montana and it's as cheesy as it gets (outside of the High School Musical trilogy!) but yet, I found this movie strangely compelling, or perhaps watchable is the better word for it.

Another example of if you know what to expect going in (and lets face it, we all know pretty much how these movies are going to unfold) - and don't set the bar too high - you'll have a pretty decent time with this one.

Throw in a couple of good tunes (the "Hoedown" and "The Climb" in particular) and this movie is what I would classify as being slightly above average, even though it is clear Miley Cryus has a fair bit of work to do on her acting career.
