Review of Hannah Arendt (2012) by Michael H — 10 Feb 2013

This topic deserves a good movie. This isn't it. There are some strong performances and some good scenes; particularly effective are the trial segment with cleverly inter-cut trial footage and Arendt's speech to her students.

Much of the movie is far too contrived and artificial, though, and some of the performances are wince-inducingly bad.
