Review of Hannah Arendt (2012) by Héctor M — 17 May 2013
Excellent film revolving around the question of the banality of evil, of bureaucratic power, of the mediocrity of the small cogwheels in a hierarchic structure, and of social hysteria through majority influence.
The scandal created by Arendt's piece on the Eichmann trial have to do with human nature, not just with Jewishness, and have been repeated several times in recent history. A must see, but not recommended if you enjoy fast-paced, action-packed films.
