Review of Hannah and Her Sisters (1986) by Buddy K — 04 Feb 2008
Pretty good more mature Woody Allen flick that does a good job of being serious and comedic at the same time. Michael Caine and Woody Allen's characters probably generate the most interest for entirely diffrent reasons.
Very well written with some very funny moments as well as some very well acted serious scenes. The casting is perfect all the way down to the supporting characters. The ending is probably one the most positive ending to a Woody Allen film but it doesn't feel cheap or anything.
The more and more I start to explore some of his older stuff the higher regard I'm begining to hold Woody Allen. Solid 8.5 out of 10.
