Review of Hannah and Her Sisters (1986) by Asa B — 24 Jul 2008
I! Love! This! Movie!
Pretty formulaic Woody Allen (complete with interlocking stories, ironies, and Allen acting like a nerd), but his formula works almost every time, this being one of the best examples of that.
The casting is perfect, the music is perfect, and the script never loses its sharpness. I'd have given it a 4.5 if not for the teensy drag in the middle, but who cares?
