Thank God for Woody Allen. While most mainstream comedians aim for the lowest common denominator and cater to the lamebrains, Woody puts some genuine wit, cleverness, sarcasm and melancholy into his movies (with just enough goofiness to keep things exciting).
Hannah and Her Sisters is my favorite of his. Hell, that's why I gave it 5 stars!
