Review of Hannah and Her Sisters (1986) by Logan T — 05 Jul 2013
Woody Allen so deftly blends drama and comedy in one of his all-time best films. His dialogue, his rich variety of characters, his episodic and novelistic structure that pieces everything together, they all contribute to creating one large (and yet simple) piece on the big questions that life poses.
Also, Allen surprisingly ends on a perfectly executed upbeat conclusion to a movie that is filled with nihilism.
