I love, love, love the music in this film. I love how the seasons relate to the narrative - in other words this is outstandingly written. Woody was clearly reading a lot of Russian literature. There's a lot of skill on display here: Michael Caine gves one of his best performances; it's funny and sad; and the love of NYC shot wonderfully.
And how the hell can you go wrong with the greatest actor ever: Max Von Sydow. Love Sweden.
