Review of Hanna (2011) by Valerie P — 25 Mar 2012
I don't see why some reviewers were saying that this film possessed a "fairytale-like quality". It takes more than a little girl and a few scenes with a whimsical man in the woods to create that feeling.
For me, this film delivered lots of bullets, running, and Cate Blanchett in perhaps the strangest role she's ever played.
They could have done so much more with the story - but we didn't have long to feel for the characters, they were too busy shooting and being shot at.
Not my cup of tea.
I think it would make a good videogame though.
