Review of Hanna (2011) by Nicolas K — 21 May 2012
I am not a fan of females-in-action (particularly from the Europe and Americas; they simply don't fit in action movies, and it looks so unreal; I'd rather prefer Asian female actresses from China, Hong Kong, Japan and more in action movies). I said to myself 'let's see maybe, this movie could change my perception about my belief' but alas! It only solidified my belief. I already had stomach full of unsatisfying facts about this movie, young girl (Saoirse Ronan) beating and killing people as killing-machine. She is puzzled to see electricity and television, and later in film you see her go to internet-cafe, she operates computer, and researches about DNA. This thing made me feel ridiculous to be (still) watching it.
The only thing that made me like it; is its photography, maintaining perfect European-touch.
