Review of Hanging Up (2000) by Tim A — 09 Nov 2011
Hanging up is about 3 sisters who have grown apart from each other and how they have been brought back together to come to terms with their old, unstable, alcoholic fathers conditions. The movie has outstanding acting from Meg Ryan's behalf, although Diane Keaton and Lisa Kudrow were great I think that Walter Matthou and Meg Ryan carried the movie from start to finish with heart warming and heart breaking scenes between the two.
This may have been an unsuccessful adaption of the book but In my opinion this is one of the best drama movies I have seen despite what anyone thinks. Brilliant 4/5.
