Review of Hang 'em High (1968) by Demetris H — 14 Jun 2009
Coming in the wake of the climatic Dollars Trilogy, Eastwood returns squinty-eyed in a comparably mundane yet appropriately enjoyable western from the director whose next film would be the worst Planet of the Apes sequel.
Thank God Leone turned down this film to pursue his epic Once Upon a Time in the West as this endeavor yielded less instances for exciting shoot-outs.
