Review of Hang 'em High (1968) by Steve B — 30 Aug 2011
All the familiar ingredients of a western, sand, saloons, whore houses, horses and hats. Nice scenery and outdoor shots and even better in HD. I just found the whole pace of this movie a little slow, as the plot revolves around justice, the law and the rope! There wasn't a great deal of Clint action.
The story was fairly simply, Clint's character 'Cooper', survives a hanging and goes on a revenge mission to see to his lynchers but along the way gaining a marshals badge and helping out the judge to clean up the town and doing it the 'proper' way.
In my opinion, he's been in better.
