Review of Hang 'em High (1968) by Rob C — 25 Apr 2010
Wrongfully accused, an ex-lawman is lynched by a group of vigilantes and left for dead. Clint Eastwood shows us why he is the rock-hard, tough guy we all come to know. Hang 'Em High is an execution of perfect cinematography while Eastwood galavants across the screen seeking revenge.
Close-ups show his menacing gaze coupled with light-hearted gestures of compassion for the criminals not deserving of death. Clint Eastwood is the true lawman of western cinema.
